Chantelle Baistow and Woy Woy Country Women’s Association Presents...Play Pot Print: A New Craft Co-Design Workshop 10-4pm at the CWA hall in Woy Woy. @cwawoywoy Play Pot Print is an exhibition of co-designed ceramics created by twelve participants from Woy Woy Country Women’s Association. Participants from the CWA were invited to take part in the design and manufacture of 3D printed ceramics. During the workshop conducted by student researcher Chantelle Baistow as part of a Master of Design research project at UNSW Art and Design, participants experimented with ways of designing ceramic objects through drawing games. The objects they designed were then developed into a range of ceramic pieces by 3D printing in clay. Pieces on display include work by members of the Woy Woy Branch of the NSW Country Women’s Association, in collaboration with designer Chantelle Baistow.Woy Woy Country Women’s Association is a community organisation dedicated to serving the people of the local area.Chantelle Baistow is a designer and Central Coast local devoted to providing an alternative experience to the over-consumption of design objects. Her practice makes artisan skills available to non-designers by integrating ceramics with digital production and experimental design.Link in bio!
